Although kids and thirty somethings could Playmobil (US) Ghostbusters without an ID, we all know IDs are fun. Especially Ghostbusters ones.
That’s why Playmobil created a mostly automated Ghostbusters ID generator. (English Language) You or kids (please get permission) can use your own photos or a choice of Playmobil Ghostbusters figures. Once an ID or two have are to your liking, you can even print it out!
Get ready for part of a fictional essay I could have written in 3rd grade. And if Ghostbusters II had been around in 1985. Dinosaurs use to look like big lizards. Zuul, called a dog is “some kind of big lizard.”
Long before Ghostbusters and afterwards scientists/paleontologists have discovered more details about different species of dinosaurs. While some looked like something the Ghostbusters could have battled I never would have thought a race of dinosaurs would look “close enough” to a Terror Dog to be named after the minion of Gozer.
An armored dinosaur species, technically an ankylosaur once roamed present day northern Montana eating plants like there wouldn’t be a tomorrow.
At the very end of January, Paul R. from Spook Central shared a Ghostbusters video in part as ghosthead Lanny White had asked him for it. Prior, I had a lesser quality copy which I had kinda forgotten about.
SFX Museum Vol. 1 is part of a feature that’s on the Japanese Laserdisc version of Ghostbusters. I don’t personally know if was featured on any North American Ghostbusters Laserdiscs.
The SFX feature is in English with Japanese subtitles. The four interviews in the feature talk about Ghostbusters special effects with Ivan Reitman, Michael C. Gross, Richard Edlund, and John Bruno.

I’ve been watching Ghostbusters videos on-line for at least seventeen years. When it became possible to save said videos in the 21 Century I would when possible. Adding them with just enough organization to multiple Ghostbusters folders either on my computers, former diskettes, and CD-Rs.

With Playmobile Ghostbusters (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, February 2, 2017) ready to believe you next month, Playmobil (US) have released a Ghostbusters mobile game set in the same Ghostbusters Playmobil-verse. That should be a thing.
At least six months ago as Halloween was approaching I was busy at times getting ready to go on vacation, between future day and a couple days before Halloween. I knew I wanted to write about (then) Halloween Ghostbusters gift bags. In somewhat of a backlog clean up I’ve thought Ghostbusters gifts bags don’t just have to be for Halloween parties and trick-or-treaters.

So 5 days ago I scanned my physical copy of Empire UK from June 2016. As in my search beforehand I didn’t come across a free digital version. My scans were the covers, inside content, and thankfully just the Ghostbusters articles. After converting the files into pretty high-res and very large PDFs they were added (Ghostbusters Firehouse Blog Post, April 15, 2017) to Ghostbusters Firehouse.
Unbeknownst to me and I’m guessing most ghostheads the real, full PDF from Empire UK, June 2016 had been added to some archive of internet. I only found that out after Paul R. from Spook Central sent me an email.
Ghostheads usually can improve on what’s already been done.
In November 2015 Hollywood Collectibles Group just in time for Black Friday began selling their 1:4 Peter Venkman. (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, November 27, 2015)
Less than two full years later Hollywood Collectibles Group has 1:4 Ray Stantz ready for pre-order to take up ghostheads display space.
This week two new Ghostbusters items to collect and experience are out in the expanded multiverse. Sony’s Playstation 4 VR game, Ghostbusters: Is Hiring, (GBI Blog Post, March 21, 2017) and IDW Publishing Ghostbusters 101. (GBI Blog Post, December 21, 2016)
It was a great opportunity for Germain Lussier of io9 to talk to Ivan Reitman about where Ghostbusters has been and where it may be heading.
As we get a little closer to Playmobil (US) releasing their Ghostbusters play sets, Playmobil has shared new, detailed photos of ECTO-1. Let’s go for a ride!
