The second hero figures from Kenner are called Fright Features and arrived at your preferred toy store in 1988. Each of The Real Ghostbusters, including Janine for the first time featured fun and exaggerated frightful expressions. Watch each figure become frightened when kids then and adults today squeezed a figure arm.
To also make the second hero figure line different then the original, each Real Ghostbusters had their own custom “uniform.” Accessories included a ghost and original equipment, most likely tailored to the individual ghosts.
Fright Features after the original hero figures are my favorite. Unfortunately I don’t recall if I had Fright Features Janine. I’m 88% sure I had Fright Features Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston.
