On August 15, 2013 Mattel’s adult collector brand Matty Collector began selling their Ghostbusters™ movie style Ecto-Goggles™ to the rest of us. I ordered my pair and waited pretty patiently with other ghostheads across the United States for them to arrive. I know I chose regular mail. I didn’t get why the odd and only used through Mattel tracking system worked only once. I didn’t know if it was just their system or my chosen shipping method meant my delivery would be at my door in about 10 days. Even ghostheads who chose UPS had similar tracking issues. When I found out a ghosthead one state away had received his on August 21, I figured mine would arrive the following day. And so it did. My mail person is great, I had them by lunch. 8)
With my schedule and later on a long traffic detour at a highway intersection I didn’t have much free time to “play” with my new prop toy. Although other ghostheads have already shared pictures and videos I too wanted to share un-boxing pictures, videos, and some impressions.

Videos
I wasn’t too familiar with the Ecto Goggles animations when I made these two videos. The first one is more a sampling of what Slimer can do when he “appears,” instead of all its animations.
