It’s been more than a decade since I last bought Hi-C juice boxes. The only reason I did in 2003 was because Dinosaur Dracula (formerly X-Entertainment) confirmed Ecto Cooler still existed, without the name and Ghostbusters packaging. I couldn’t tell you today (or even then) if Shoutin’ Orange Tangergreen tasted anything like Ecto Cooler. It probably was fun to have a taste of childhood in the present. With news of Ecto Cooler (Ecto-Containment Blog… Read More

If you live in a country that celebrates Thanksgiving (because your ancestors mostly needed to leave a continent for their religious beliefs) you may initially have missed an important trademark registry breaking the internet. Resurrect Ecto Cooler (Facebook) shared that Coca~Cola (who owns Hi-C and also once owned Ghostbusters because they had owned Columbia Pictures) have renewed the Ecto Cooler trademark through the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It was actually done back in… Read More

Sony Pictures VP of global consumer products, Mark Caplan has provided information about what ghostheads can expect from their business partnership with Mattel in the next year. While we’re probably not getting those The Real Ghostbusters figures (Ghostbusters Inc. Blog Post, July 25, 2014) we’ll see new Ghostbusters figures and have a Proton Pack.

Cryptozoic Entertainment sent over an electronic email telling ghostheads web masters (I’m honored to be included!) that Cryptozoic Entertainment announced (in fact just today) that Ghostbusters: The Board Game arrives at retailers on November 11, 2015. After the break, the official press release with Ghostbusters The Board Game photos!

Blog Post, January 5, 2015) During the summer I was contacted by PR By The Book, a public relations firm who represents Insight Editions. The discussion via email was about having a review copy and promoting the book. Which I’ve been doing at least since January. Unless… Read More

Sony Pictures streaming service Crackle quietly put up season 1 of The Real Ghostbusters to stream. Episodes can be streamed for free even without having an account. Their is a short ad before we go back to 1986. Episodes listed after the break are linked to my small amount of reviews. If you’d like to skip that until I write a new review :p here’s The Real Ghostbusters Crackle page.

The official Ghostbusters Facebook page posted about an upcoming contest where 10 winners will receive signed copies of Ghostbusters: The Ultimate Visual History. (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, July 12, 2015) That is if you’ll be at New York Comic Con.

As 2015 was beginning the powers that be (um sure) announced that Ghostbusters The Ultimate Visual History (GB Inc. Blog Post, January 5, 2015) was being put together and will be available this September. Daniel Wallace, who wrote Ghostbusters visual history and publisher Insight Editions were at SDCC to show off a sample of the book. Along with something big (not quite 100ft big) for a collectors edition.
