Diamond Select Toys has revealed their New York Comic Con “Scared” Mr. Stay-Puft exclusive. Ghostheads would immediately recognize that while this figure is being marketed under The Real Ghostbusters brand, the only time Mr. Stay-Puft was scared is right before the Ghostbusters ruin Gozer’s night. Diamond Select Toys produced a couple of series (Diamond Select Toys Blog Post) featuring The Real Ghostbusters figures. Although posable, they don’t quite capture, (from what I’ve seen of them) “the Kenner feel.” A reason I don’t own any of them. Diamond Select Toys posted on there Art Asylum site about new Ghostbusters Vinimates and Ghostbusters Selects figures will debut at this weekend New York Toy Fair. Until then DST gave ghostheads a small “sneak peak.”

Last week Diamond Select Toys updated their Facebook page with photos and information about their rooftop diorama accessories. Which will be included with the Selects versions that will be found in comic shops and on-line retailers. I’ve been talking about Diamond Select Toys upcoming 7″ Ghostbusters figures since (GB Inc) New York Toy Fair. With additional information added to Ghostbusters Firehouse. DST officially made the announcement on April 21 about Series 1 and beyond.
