In August I wrote about the Funko Pop! Movies Ghostbusters vinyl figures I had bought from Barnes & Noble and Amazon. I was missing a stand alone Pop! Movies Ghostbuster. To explain the absence I said:
Pop! Dr. Venkman was unavailable as he was looking for a non existent Dana as Gatekeeper Pop!
I knew I’d be receiving a Pop! Movies Dr. Peter Venkman (104) as a gift. With Christmas come and gone, I not only received a Pop! Movies Dr. Peter Venkman, other Funko Pop! Ghostbusters figures as well.🙂
Pop! Movies Peter Venkman is the first Pop! Movies Ghostbuster who holds a Nutrona Wand. Similar to his vinyl colleagues the uniform and proton pack have nice detailing. Yeah, the elbow pads could be movie accurate. It isn’t a deal breaker. What could be is the overspray/under spray which is noticeable around the hair line and eye.
I can understand to a point with as many figures are made and where they’re made not only can their be imperfections, their will be mistakes. Hopefully when that kind of thing happens, it’s a small percentage of a toy company’s inventory.
Neither paint error takes away the enjoyment of either a single Funko Pop! Movies Ghostbuster. Once the Funko Pop! Movies Ghostbusters hired Pop! Movies Winston Zeddemore they were really in business.
