Site Update: Kenner Mail Fraud Write Up

mailfraud

A lot of photos I’ve taken of The Real Ghostbusters figures and other items include them on a worn The Real Ghostbusters poster. Probably in 2011 I bought it with a number of other small, loose items from a once popular auction site. I just needed that poster.

Among those items, a Kenner The Real Ghostbusters “no ghost” logo armband. It originally would have been included with a Kenner Proton Pack. Their was also a kinda sealed Topps Ghostbusters II trading card pack, (Ecto-containment Blog Post, February 5, 2018) and a Kenner Haunted Human second series ghost figure, Mail Fraud!

I hadn’t owned once since probably mom and dad were buying Haunted Human figures for me when I was about 9.

Here this one is, loose without its original card. Barely making its way as a fraud. It hung around my former garage for six years. With every other Haunted Human or second series ghost figure I own on Ecto-Containment, it was finally time to deliver.

Without further delay Mail Fraud is in your neighborhood!

Site Update: Kenner Fearsome Flush Write Up

fearsomeflusheyestanked

This past October I added new photos and Kenner write ups. (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, October 31, 2017) I couldn’t include one as I hadn’t found the Kenner Fearsome Flush I collected probably in 2011. It just hadn’t been unpacked.

Yesterday along with the Matty Collector Stay-Puft (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, January 16, 2018) and N.E.C.A (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, January 16, 2018) updates I took photos of a Fearsome Flush. Today I created a new page for this unique kind of toy and wrote about what was then Fearsome, yet today awesome.

New Kenner Collection Write Ups

When I began collecting real Ghostbusters six years ago I eventually wanted to write about them all and include photos. The way I did collect, wanted to write about them, and real life didn’t always allow for that.

Before I moved in July and sold some of my Kenner The Real Ghostbusters collection I took some new photos of toys I hadn’t photographed in previous years. This month I took new photos, some which also hadn’t been photographed. I didn’t necessarily plan to write about them now, that’s what I’ve mostly done.

If I still have the toys I’ve taken new photos, added a new Ecto-Containment “watermark,” and replaced them with older Ectocontainment photos.
