I’ve been looking for Kenner Instructions I didn’t have (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, June 6, 2013) since at least 2013. Number 1 on the list, Kenner Ecto-Goggles & Ecto-Popper instructions. While four years later I haven’t found or been contacted about the original US instructions, we’re all a little closer to some kind of instructions.

I recently asked on the Ghostbusters Collectors Facebook group about these instructions. Ghosthead Nikos Milonas from Greece shared the one page, (front and back) “instructions” from his collection.
From my memory, the US instructions were much closer to how say ECTO-1 instructions were. A multi-page booklet detailing both the goggles and popper. The French version barely qualifies as instruction. Was Kenner trying to save some money on printing costs in Europe?
The back page is Kenner really caring in multiple languages. As I’ve waited 4 + years for Kenner Ecto-Googles instructions I’m appreciative of Nikos sharing the instructions. As they were from photos, the multi-language customer service page wasn’t as clear as the “instructions.” I used one of Kenner US versions for the 2 page PDF file.
