Ghostbusters Collectibles For Sale

Photo originally from Kenner, I don’t own any display signs.

Before I have to move I’d like to try to sell Ghostbusters collectibles, (with some other 1980s properties) from my collection. I’d prefer at this time if possible not to have to ship items. Particularly large items. That might depend on price, the item, and my personal time in getting ready to move. That’s why I haven’t tried to sell on eBay up to now.

I’ve made a list as a PDF file and uploaded it to Google Drive folder.* I’ll also add the items in this post and when possible update the file Prices sometimes were gauged from what was recently listed on eBay. If their isn’t a price, please make a serious offer. Prices are listed in USD.

Toys, figures, and collectibles were bought from December 2010 throughout 2011. Toys are in box or on card with most, if not all its packaging and any accessories. Some exceptions may apply. Their may be wear in boxes or to cards, particularly from the 1980s. From 2010 to July 2017 toys, figures, and collectibles come from a smoke free home.

What am I selling? Mostly Ghostbusters and He-Man. Classic Collection Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A couple of items from Back To The Future.

Trendmasters ECTO-1

As I previously wrote about (Ecto-Containment Blog Post) I wasn’t a fan of Extreme Ghostbusters. Which even in recent years around the only season of the animated series seemed strange (in my neighborhood or yours) that I wouldn’t be a fan of something Ghostbusters. It couldn’t mean I wouldn’t have an interest in its toy line eventually. Trendmasters, a company who once shelled out the big bucks for Godzilla ponied up to bring us new Ghostbusters toys.

During a probably mundane trip to our nearest Big K-Mart in Fall 2000 I went downstairs and was checking out the toy section. Almost like finding buried treasure, either all or most of Trendmasters Extreme Ghostbusters toys were still available. I had spent a good part of 1999 and 2000 saving for a Proton Pack replica. I was also starting to buy Ghostbusters collectibles on a popular auction site. I didn’t buy a single Extreme Ghostbusters toy from them. In a way it worked out as a ghosthead I knew was interested for his collection. Continue reading

Extreme Ghostbusters

When Extreme Ghostbusters premiered on September 1, 1997 somewhere on my aging 13 inch Sharp TV I was officially an adult. I had graduated high school a little more then a year ago. Those responsible adult things had already been set in motion. I had finally gotten my license, taken a real vacation without my parents, bought a car, was in college, and I had my first not in high school job. Minimum wage, oh yeah!

The cartoons I grew up with, that shaped my ’80s childhood were part of my past. Stored in a clutter of awesome memory files. Even a new Ghostbusters cartoon wasn’t exactly on my radar. I’m fuzzy on the whole how I even found out about it. I do remember a friend of mine and I talking about it. Continue reading
