Their was a time since 2009 and more recently in the last five years when I’d write or share Ghostbusters: The Video Game news/content. Ghostheads probably never thought their would be an update and a new official release of “Ghostbusters 3” again.
Epic Games, Saber Interactive, video game publisher Mad Dog LLC, and of course Sony Pictures is happily proving us wrong.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is coming to your computer or next generation console on October 4, 2019.
Last year Ghostbusters Sanctum of Slime (Ecto-Containment Post, April 28, 2016) became backwards compatible believe it or not before Ghostbusters: The Video Game. In what Ghostbusters universe were we all living in?
That’s right, we were living in the past. In 2017 when ghostheads have prevented interdimensional breaches from reopening, we return to a memorable time when we can once again play Ghostbusters: The Video Game. This time not just on a once expensive aging console.
If you own an xBox One, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is backwards compatible. You should be able to find it in the Marketplace if you don’t have a copy of the physical game.

Years later you may have left your aging console to collect dust like you once collected achievements. All because of the newer and current Xbox One. (US) You couldn’t play certain games (go with me here) until Microupdate added “backwards compatibility.”
Honestly I still don’t know if Ghostbusters: The Video Game is compatible. Please leave a comment if you know. Word from the not so mean cyber streets informed ghostheads that Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is compatible from Xbox (One) Live Arcade.
Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime retails for $4.99 USD and can be downloaded on Xbox One, Xbox, probably (I don’t know for sure as I don’t have a PS3/4) Playstation Network, and I sorta still guess PC Download. Again, if anyone can confirm please leave a comment.
